Jimmy Fallon rocketed a couple of zingers at Donald Trump and his son, Donald Trump Jr., after the former president promised the U.S. would reach Mars if he returned to the White House.

“Speaking of Trump, he just vowed that if he’s elected, the U.S. will reach Mars. When they told Trump that Mars has no intelligent life, he said, ‘Let’s rename it Don Jr,’” the “Tonight Show” host said Monday.

“Apparently, Trump is obsessed with Mars because it looks like a selfie,” he added.

Speaking to a crowd in North Carolina on Saturday, Trump invoked billionaire SpaceX chief Elon Musk — who has endorsed the Republican nominee in the presidential race — and said, “We want to reach Mars before the end of by term.”

Trump added, “And we want to have also great military protection in space, because that’s where it’s going to be at.”
