First book of the year, and of the holiday.
I stumbled across this title on a S&S email promoting titles for ‘Fans of Gilmore Girls’. I couldn’t source it on audio, so I requested on of my public libraries add this to their Overdrive collection, and voila, they did! This was a perfect summer beach read, and a literal beach one as some of it was done on the beach.

I love these fillers, and Lee Childs does a great job of putting a lot into a little. I love audio, so these are great. They pack a punch and in this one, we see Jack and Joe work together. Though I was surprised when Joe was described as receding. As a reader I suppose one forms their own little imaginings when they read a long running series.
