The third, The Olive Stain, was written during a painful time in my life, so it was an emotional journey. My last book- a novella- Surreptitiously Yours- was the longest I've written to date, so I was proud of it. If I have to choose, I will say my second book, Rampart & Toulouse. It is comprised of three short stories and a novella. I suppose it's my favorite because I had the most fun writing it. Thanks for the question, Jesse!(less)

Wow, Warhol and talking me up with a fellow New Orleanian all in the same night. Must have been some evening. Thanks, Caleb.

Caleb Ross Twenty Stories arrived today. Thank you for saying such nice things, and for including all the goodies. I can't want to read. I'm checking out an Andy Warhol exhibit tonight with a friend who was pushed out of New Orleans by the floods. I'm going to talk you up, maybe get her to ready the collection as well (though she's not a voracious reader, so my battle may be uphill).

Caleb Ross I didn't realize you had a story collection out. Have you been posting about it anywhere?
