Although Carole has short stories and wildlife articles to her name, her real passion is writing crime fiction. Brought up in the UK, she married Bill and raised a family in Cornwall, where they built their own boats and enjoyed years of sailing the English Channel and the French coast during weekends and holidays. They moved to Australia in 1981 and set up a family retail business. Now, since she has retired, Carole combines the two interests and sets her crime locations around boats and rivers.

It's my early morning Sunday right now -- I'm having the first of the summer barbucues next Saturday, so I shall be sorting out the house and garden this week. And I'm still struggling to make a start on book #4.

Carole Hi Sue,
I see you asked if Ferryman was out yet. It is now on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Just click on my pic to bring up the page. With all the attantion I have been paying to getting it set up and tagged and all that, I have neglected this column and do apologise for my tardy reply!

Can anybody please tell me how I go about getting my book and urls etc.titles 'linked' as I see other people have done? I've tried clicking on the 'add book/author and filling the boxes out, but nothin happens.

Carole Hi Sue,
Good to have you as a friend. No I haven't had time to delve into it properly, but I will asap. Tagging sounds a great idea. FERRYMAN is not out yet but should be any day. The publishing said before christmas. I haven't seen the book cover yet,so I hope all is well. I'll let you know when it is out.

Carole Hi Karen,
Wow that was quick. Nice to make your acquaintance as they say! I'm saving the photo space for my bookcover, whenever that arrives. I'm looking forward to getting to know new people interested in books.
