Fiona Akkerman lives in the "hub of the Rangitikei", New Zealand. Together with her husband Aaron she enjoys outdoorsy projects and hobbies, especially tramping with friends & whānau, visiting backcountry huts, and exploring NZ's awesome bush, rivers and mountains.

But the adventures she enjoys best are the ones inside books, and she plans to continue writing poetry & fiction to share the stuff she's experienced (or could theoretically have experienced...in an alternate universe).
