The Damsel in the Library Why was it called The Shadow Throne? I think she should have come up with something better. Any thoughts on a better title? Perhaps Into the Devil's Lair, or something.

What I mean is, he was taken away and treaten like a prisoner and a whipping hoy many times, and it seemed like someone else would take over. So, therefore, the throne was shadowed or dast aside because of the confusion the war made.

Anna Because Jaron wasn't on the throne and was often near death, the throne was a mere shadow.

I thought it was called The Shadow Throne because we weren't really sure who would become king. 'Shadow' showed the obscurity of who would eventually rule Carthya (Jaron, Amarinda, Vargan, etc.); who would eventually sit in the throne.

Cheryl L Whatever the title was, this series was amazing
