Crystal What I use Goodreads for:
1. Keep track of books I read

2. Keep track of what I feel about books I read
I tend to forget what I read over time so I often reread my old book reviews & star ratings to remember how I feel about a certain book.

3. See what other people thought about a book I want to read
(if people give a book horrible reviews i'm less likely to read it and vice versa)

4. See what people thought about a book I already read
(compare opinions and find people who completely agree or disagree with me + ranting reviews are entertaining to read)

5. To find new books to read
(I'm always visiting the goodreads list of popular fantasy romance novels to find new books to check out)

Opinions on the interface:
Overall everything feels quite perfect to me :P and I find it super easy to use.

Maybe the only thing I would change is it's SUPER hard to format text. If I want to make something bold, I need to use some kind of coding formatting like "< b >" and "< / b >" to bold a text. For someone who really likes my text formatted, it would be wayyy more user friendly if we could just click on a "bold" button similar to the one microsoft word has. And this applies to the other coding formatting things like inserting pictures, spoiler tagging etc.
