Tears were shed, obviously. The only words that came out of me when I fisnished were "what the hell", while tears were running down my cheeks.

But I had a few issues.

Let's start with the fact that nothing has happend till the middle of the book. The wife who was on the deep-sea mission already came back, but she came back changed, and the other wife didn't know what to do with her. The first half of the book was just them remembering their past, when everything was alright, but I don't like when a book is written like it's a diary. It's almost like a double past tense and it creates distance between me and the characters because I was not there when everything happened, I don't actually know them. So how should I care about them?

My bigger problem, however, is that I was left with so many questions. I was not expecting this book to be the next Into the Drowning Deep, but we didn't get any answers, so basically it's just a make-believe. I understand you can't put everything into 240 pages, but it took away from my enjoyement a lot.
