Notes:
(1) Voldemort: "I understand those things that I did not understand before. I must be the one to kill Harry Potter, and I shall be."
- Interesting how, despite not hearing the prophesy, Voldemort came to the same solution on his own. Albeit for different reasons.
(2) Bellatrix is the worst kind of groupie.
(3) Tonks and Lupin are married already? I guess they eloped."

(1) I don't want to attribute symbolism where there might be none, but wizards really do react to their wands being broken like they've been gelded.
(2) "The idea of a teenage Dumbledore was simply odd, like trying to imagine a stupid Hermione or a friendly Blast-Ended Skrewt."
- Hermione has been plenty stupid before. It's just that hers has to do with common sense."

Literally Ron’s worst nightmare.

Notes:
(1) Rita Skeeter: 'Elphias "Dogbreath" Doge, the dim-witted but devoted sidekick [Dumbledore] had picked up at school.'
- Sounds like film-Ron, except for the "Dogbreath" part. Lavender, for one, seemed to love his breath.

Notes:
(1) '"You’ll be using [Bellatrix's] actual wand," said Harry, nodding toward the walnut wand, "so I reckon you’ll be pretty convincing." Hermione looked frightened that the wand might sting or bite her.'

(2) 'It was of Ron and Hermione that he thought as he whispered, "Expecto Patronum!"'
- Aww... they're Harry's happy thought!"

(2) Seamus: "We’ve been hiding out [in the Room of Requirement] ... and it even sprouted a pretty good bathroom once girls started turning up —"
Lavender: "— and thought they’d quite like to wash, yes."
- So... boys don't "require" washing?"

Notes:
(1) Harry uses the Cruciatus Curse and McGonagall uses the Imperius Curse. Sure, rules get thrown out when it comes to war, but do the ends justify the means?
(2) In the film McGonagall duels Snape one-on-one until he flees. In the book, it's Flitwick that runs Snape off.
(3) 'Professor McGonagall dryly, "we teachers are rather good at magic, you know."'
- Ha! Sassy."

Notes:
(1) '"Our headmaster is taking a short break," said Professor McGonagall, pointing at the Snape-shaped hole in the window.'
- So much sass.
(2) I find it hard to believe that Dumbledore never knew about the Room of Requirement.
(3) '"It was Ron, all Ron’s idea!” said Hermione breathlessly. "Wasn’t it absolutely brilliant?"'
- Ron being brilliant makes Hermione swoon."
September 8, 2020 –

Notes:
(1) "Running at Ron, [Hermione] flung [her arms] around his neck and kissed him full on the mouth. Ron ... responded with such enthusiasm that he lifted Hermione off her feet."

(2) Harry: "D'you think you could just — just hold it in until we’ve got the diadem?"
Ron: "Yeah — right — sorry."
- I bet he's not really sorry."

Notes:

- Can the dead be killed?
(3) Hermione: "Are you a wizard, or what?"
Ron: "Oh — right — yeah — Wingardium Leviosa!"

- Kidding. Hagrid found him east of Minsk so he's likely Russian.
(2) Snape: "You’re a witch."

(2) "He saw the mouth move and a flash of green light, and everything was gone."
- Huh, I thought Voldemort was more proficient in non-verbal spells."
September 13, 2020 –

Daisy obviously books were great! films were pretty good considering the amount of pressure they were under to make them as good as the books!

Sasha this always makes me tear up😢 using multiple wands would be more powerful even if the wand is someone else's right?

Even if the wands were half as effective, three would still be 1.5x the force of one.

Sasha Hermione's influence is working. Ahhh the battle's about to start!!

Yes, on the whole she's defnitely been a positive influence on Ron :)

Maria I thought the kissing was aggressive in the film too 😂

Jayson Maria wrote: "I thought the kissing was aggressive in the film too 😂"

I can see that. To me, the film had at least a touch of sweetness to it, whereas in the books, to quote Ginny, "It looks like he’s eating her face." Hermione, it seems, eats his face back :)
