really liked it
bookshelves: contemporary

I've read a few bad reviews of this, but I really enjoyed it. Yes, Gia is very shallow and selfish at the beginning of the book, but she grows a lot. She begins to realize that she doesn't really know who she is and that no one else really does either because she's always kept everyone at a distance. I wanted to slap her several times in the beginning, but by the end I was totally rooting for her.
