This is a part of a series about Club Sin... A BDSM club. I picked this one up because the first book was so good... However, this one had a very different story that was full of self realizations, emotions and denials.

The first book had a definite protagonist & it was amazing. It surprised me that this book brought out emotion beyond the club scene & it was good. I really don't read these kind of books. They just seem repetative to me and once you've read one, you've read them all. This one was different because of all of the emotion running this book. It was far from cheesy. This was a totally different kind of book. AND this wasn't funny like the Shades of Grey series...

Aidan (a lawyer)lost his wife five years ago. She was also his Sub. She was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver. Cora (a social services counselor) comes to the club 2 years ago and he takes her as his sub. Now Cora is in love with him. She won't tell him because he's not over his wife, and she doesn't want the drama and to lose him if he finds out. Now she has secrets & he's out to figure them out.

It's a relationship book. A book of self-realization & healing, with several BDSM pages in between.

It was good, but I was tired of the secrets & angst. There is only so much I can take & this one was angst cover to cover. I will read more in the series because the books are really good. This author is good... Besides... My married male boss has read the Shades of Grey series, so I tease him about reading this series now...
