The Masters of Club Sin are back in this smokin’ hot must read Bared by Stacey Kennedy. While you can read this one as a stand-alone, I would strongly suggest you pick up Claimed first and meet Dmitri and Presley before you dive into Aidan and Cora’s story. Of all the BDSM stories I have read I have to give mad props to this author for the realism she puts into her scenes. A lot of authors go way over the top and have things going on that would require eight hands, five arms, and a contortionist in order for the acts to be pulled off, but Stacey finds that line between fantasy and doable without crossing it.
Cora is a Club Sin submissive. Even though she could have her pick of any of the Doms or Masters at the club she only plays with one, Master Aidan. When she first came to Club Sin he was her trainer and quickly fell for him. She recognized his pain and wanted to help him heal, so she stuffed down her emotions and became the submissive he needed. One with no strings and no commitments taking only what he was willing and able to give her. Cora tried to be happy getting him any way she could, but the heart wants what it wants.
Aidan is brokenhearted. The love of his life died in a car accident and he can’t seem to move beyond the guilt of living without her. Slowly, the sassy Cora coaxes him out of his dark shell, but until he opens his eyes to what is in front of him he will never be able to really live again. This D/s pair is perfect together, but will ghosts from the past keep them from moving forward? Will Aidan see the love Cora so freely gives and accept it? Or will Cora finally realize she is worth more and move on without him?
I loved this book. I have to admit I was a bit concerned with reading book two because book one was SO freaking amazing. I just knew that there would be no way this one could live up to the expectations I had set. Thank all that is holy Stacey Kennedy kicks ass because it was just as awesome as the first! I had already semi fell in love with Master Aidan in book one, but after reading Bared I am in full on book boyfriend lust with this guy. The things he does to Cora are out of this world ah-mazing. My whores know me pretty well, and I am a sucker for high emotion books… well this one had me in tears bawling like a baby more than once. I won’t say it was “ugly” crying, but damn close. There is a scene where Cora lays all her cards on the table… well… let’s just say this whore lost her shit a bit over it.
Not only do you get Aidan and Cora’s tale, but you get to see a bit of Dmitri and Presley (I still lust for Master Dmitri… whew) plus we get a good dose of Master Kyler and Cora’s exboyfriend/exDom Porter too. I’m hoping we will see Master Kyler in the next book…. Domly one in a uniform? Yes, please!
Bared is equal parts sexy smut and emotional rollercoaster. I LOVED IT. I certify it a Mommy’s a Book Whore MUST read. I give it FIVE stars for a dynamic storyline and FIVE drenched panties for kinky smut!
