I love this new series that the author has started. It is a spin-off of the original Soldier Daddies but is considered part of the series. A new group of Daddies will need to find their Little girls. Jerico finds Aspen when he helps to protect her at a pizza joint/bar. He follows her to her apartment and quickly moves her into his house for her protection, along with the dog that she rescued. He works to reassure her that he will follow her lead as they progress towards a relationship.

I enjoyed the story. Jerico is patient with Aspen and works to make her comfortable with him. Aspen is young, but she knows her mind and grows in confidence every day that she spends with Jerico. I liked reading about their progressing love story. They have a HEA, and we are given a hint about who the new couple will be.
