A Doomful of Sugar (Maple Syrup Mysteries, 1)

This book had me hooked from page one and didn't let go until the bitter end. While I had a hunch whodunnit, the ending was still a treat. Bruns has done a wonderful job of pulling us into the world of Leila Khoury and her family in Vermont and bringing in several twists and turns until the end.
Oh, and if you start of knowing nothing about maple syrup, you will soon be enlightened! And hungry - which is why the great recipes at the end of this book were a fun surprise!
