let's call this a fiction with a mysterious plot. nothing thrilling or even super mysterious about this book. the plot was interesting which is what kept me reading, but I was more interested in what was gong on in the character's lives VS the entire mystery of the story... and maybe that is the point but when calling a book a mystery thriller I guess I expect it to be a little more thrilling and mysterious.. also the entire moment at the end... nope.

literally! what even was the end i feel like the author tried to make it jarrin but it was just annoying
I had to DNF it was 26% due to the fact I work with kids so the child abu$e was already starting to get too disturbing for me :(
Why is this exactly my take on another thriller I read, it was marketed as a “thriller” but it was not thrilling more as you said fiction with a mysterious plot
Well said. I, too, enjoyed reading the book but at the end, I felt like I hadn’t gone anywhere. It felt anti-climactic, even with that twist.
Thanks for the review! I had started to read this book but when I found out it is a mystery thriller without a mystery that doesn' thrill I decided to skip it.
Why is it that the negative reviews seem to get the most attention. I found it very engaging and well worth reading.
