This is a devastatingly beautiful debut of a book. The atmosphere was palpable, the emotions were raw, the action was fierce, and the characters were so endearing, albeit mighty, I couldn’t take it. Garner created a world so robust and full of rich flavor that I never wanted to leave. This author is one to watch. If you love urban fantasy with a dark twist, complete with found family, an abundance of mental health representation, and a love story for the ages, definitely pick up The Goddess Of. You won’t be disappointed. I loved this one with all my heart.
