it was amazing

The Goddess Of is everything I want in a fantasy romance and has some of the best hurt/comfort I’ve had the pleasure of reading! If a book doesn’t emotionally destroy me, I don’t want it!! But seriously, I LOVED this book. I want to reread it already and have serious plans to purchase a signed copy so I can annotate and hold it dear for the rest of my life. Reading experiences like this one remind me why supporting indie authors is so important. I cannot stop thinking about The Goddess Of and I think it will probably make my list of top reads for the year. The angst was fantastic, the characters complex yet lovable, and the world building was artfully executed. I don’t think I’m going to shut up about The Goddess Of any time soon and I will be telling anyone who will listen to read it!

Synopsis:
Naia is the eldest daughter of the Goddess of the Sea and the God of Nature. However, Naia has never shown any abilities or magic to become a minor or greater goddess. Her mother uses this disappointment as punishment and has cursed her to remain trapped in the sea. On the night of Naia’s arranged marriage, she makes a deal with the God of Curses to break her entrapment and so she may flee. The catch? She doesn’t know what curse she will be replacing with the old one, and won’t know when it goes into effect. Once Naia successfully escapes after fighting off her powerful sister, she makes it to land and stumbles across Ronin - a mortal man who graciously allows her to shelter in his family home. Unfortunately, Ronin’s family despises the gods, thus Naia worries if he finds out her true identity, he’ll harm her before she’s able to seek protection from her family.
