this had sm potential and the beginning was looking to be just what i have needing/craving lately in terms of angst and shit (i cried)

but then she was like i slept with my biological father 😶‍🌫️basically for revenge except she was like only 16 and had been raped by the same guy since she was 8 and the guy knowingly brings in her father to sleep with her bc he’s fucking evil like that (she recognized him as her father but he didn’t bc he didn’t want an illegitimate child and had abandoned her and her mom nearly a decade ago)

it also got real repetitive with the fmc constantly wanting to leave the mmc bc she felt like he deserved better than a prostitute. i really tried to be understanding bc of all her trauma but i wish that had been written differently

anyway this is what i get for picking up a christian historical fiction
