The Jaeger brothers are everything! After reading Tryst Six Venom, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Five Brothers and this spin off certainly didn’t disappoint. As soon as I read the blurb, I was so ready for this taboo trope! This book is heavy with intrigue, angst, some heartbreak, emotional and endearing moments. And the sex scenes are so steamy, mind blowing and dirty, I thought I was going to erupt in flames.

While Krisjen was born and raised in high society from the wealthy part of a small coastal town in Florida, the Jaegers are the complete opposite and live on the wrong side of the tracks. Yet, she simply can’t get enough of them and they need her. Each brother is unique in their own right and although they have issues, there is something about them that is highly addictive. There’s a reason why Krisjen can’t stay away and I don’t blame her.

This is a well blended and intense storyline with a rollercoaster of ups and downs. It kept me on edge and I couldn’t wait for more. I can’t decide on which brother is my favorite and that’s a great incentive for me to read the future stand alones. And the bonus scene is just another reason why I’m looking forward to next book because I already know that it’s going to be intense and dramatic as hell! Penelope Douglas is the queen of expect the unexpected, Five Brothers definitely falls within that category and it’s a must read.
