Reading "Ashad Ka Ek Din" introduced me to a work inspired by Kalidasa's life for the first time, and it made a big impact on me.
The book's genuine Hindi literature felt like something special that was missing from my reading experience.
It's actually a play captured in a book, which got me excited about seeing it performed live in a theater one day for sure.
The story was captivating, especially how it brought Mallika's character to life with rich details and descriptions. I particularly admired the way the author expressed unconditional love in this book.
After reading this book, I realized how much we are missing the gems hidden in Hindi literature. I'll definitely be on the lookout for more creations by the author, Mohan Rakesh.
