Jude the Obscure

The writing was really lovely, and the first half was brilliant as you go along with Jude and his wide eyed wonder at the world and the tempting possibilities of learning and education at Christminster. Sue was frustrating, but I probably would have done similar to her if I was in her situation. Not an easy one to get through if you’re in a mentally low place anyway, but I’m glad to have read it.

Also can tell this is gonna be so ouchy! Can’t wait!"
