Can't Let Go (River Bend, #5)

This book just didn't engage me that much. I found Mia to be kind of blah and honestly not as tough as she's made out to be. Her staying engaged to her cheating fiancee Ben and then kind of blithely not caring that she's consonantly running into some woman Reed has screwed - well it just felt forced and rather dull. Reed also annoyed me which is never a good thing.
The complete lack of drama also left me feeling like this was a slog to get through. It all centred around her dad and her devious ex with a revelation for Reed at the end. And of course Reed the local Lothario was anything but in this story (eyeroll). He's also wanted Mia and was just waiting out his time. Yawn. I skimmed to the end to see if I was missing anything. I wasn't.
