o.m.g. i LOVED this SO MUCH. it was literally aMAZING. I couldn't put it down. I was laughing out loud so much and I freaking love these characters so much. I was hooked from start to finish. I loved the letters that he sent her as they were growing up, and even tho Ora would trick him into sending her awful gifts, I loved that she still kept them bc she knew he had good intentions. the scene when she first met had me SCREAMING, poor Finn 🤣😭

anyways, I think I may have found my new favorite type of MMC: unhinged cinnamon roll. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH OMG. he does some kinda... bonkers things BUT IT'S ALSO KINDA HOT AND ROMANTIC. like this girl touches his arm and she gets jealous and he CUTS THE SKIN OF HIS ARM OFF AND IS LIKE "there, now no other women but you have touched me". I was like aaaAAAAAA and then I was like, why is that kinda hot tho. HELP. anyways, if you wanna know some of the other things he did, you're gonna have to read it bc I couldn't list them all here.

okay so to wrap it up: this is probably my favorite read of January and if you don't read it, you're missing out. it's on KU. it's fated mates (and the lore behind FM is so cool). it's got fae royalty and familiars. there's rom com vibes and some spicy moments (with one bed trope!) and a few chapters with love letters from the MMC to the FMC as they're growing up! so if this isn't already on your tbr, go add it and read it asap :)
