This was….wow. Unexpected and poignant, rare and provoking, humorous and real and so so so well done. I enjoyed every moment of this. The kid is definitely one of my top characters I’ve ever read — watching her grow felt so personal and tangible and goodness gracious I will be thinking about this book forever. This was magical. Found family and loss and welcoming in new people and forgiving yourself and forgiving others and so many incredible themes. I am…I feel rudderless now that I’ve finished. IM BLABBERING AND ILL COME BACK TO EDIT THIS REVIEW LATER IDK
