Rep: Marigold (MC) is cis, white and bisexual. Lottie (LI) is cis, white and lesbian. August (SC) is cis, Black, and pansexual. Frankie (SC) is cis, white and achillean.
Please note: there are zero labels used in this book for sexualities. As someone who has read the book, and paid attention to it, these are the labels that I believe fit best. Marigold has loved men and women before, so bisexual is used. Lottie is described as "only liking women" ergo lesbian. August admits that gender does not play into his attraction, which is why I believe pansexual best fits.
Until the author states otherwise, these are the labels I will be using for this book.

Hello to my new favourite book!

I absolutely adored every single second of this one. From it's wonderfully queer normative world, to the beautiful magic system.

Marigold was such a delight to read about. She's the 'odd' one in her family, and for good reason, too - she's a honey witch!

Reading and learning about honey witches was such a delight. I adored Althea (Lottie's maternal grandmother) and her relationship with Marigold.

The development of the plot, along with the heart-wrenching and spot on descriptions of loneliness are some that will stay with me forever,

I adored Marigold and Lottie's relationship and their interactions left me smiling in so many passages.

I feel like I am not doing this story justice. I need to come back soon with more thoughts
