boring, bland, zero chemistry, terrible smut, worse writing.

the beginning was ok, but it honestly went so downhill after the halfway point. the ‘trauma’ in the middle gets completely sweeped under the rug and ceases to exist after like one chapter. it felt like it was added just for dramatic effect. the ending felt extremely rushed and underwhelming.

the couple’s build up was so poorly done, i felt absolutely nothing for them. the dialogue was cringe. his name is patrick but her nickname for him is “paddy” … even during sex. and that nickname instantly makes me think of a granny named patty so like no thank yew.

also no i don’t speak german but i used this edition because i can’t stand the other cover.
