** spoiler alert ** Arrrrggggghhhh ! Arrrrggggghhhh !

Honestly, just what is it with French romantic writers? In The Three Musketeers, after being separated for months from his beloved, when does d’Artagnan finally find her? Just after she’s been poisoned by d’Artagnan’s enemy, Milady, and is dying. And in this book, after all that trouble he goes to looking for his one true love, he abandons her to help her stupid brother look for his fiancée because of some stupid promise he made as a kid. And when does he return? That’s not romantic, that’s just sick. But okay, I liked the rest of the story even if the ending made me go grrrrrr.
