I've been on the fence about reading this one. On one hand it looks good, but on the other hand I can't take any more "Ima girlboss over powered sociopathic FMC".
There are too many books out there like that rn. It's almost toxic. If you read and like this one I will read it. Been waiting on your review lol.

Gatekeep, gaslight, girlboss. LOL. No, but I get it. It's nice to get some female villains but I don't particularly think that's *good* "strong heroine" rep, either. If you haven't read Ilona Andrews's Hidden Legacy series, you might like that. They're villain romances featuring kickbutt heroines who have realistic flaws, and the secondary characters are as good as the mains.
I'll def let you know what I think of this one!! I got sidetracked LOL

You're in for a treat! The third book was so good! I also really like the spinoff about Nevada's sister and the Italian guy. The novella that bridges them is a little fanfictiony but I think I love the next trilogy almost as much as the first! I've been putting off reading the last one because I don't want it to end lmao
