Fantastic book. Not just a horror novel, but a beautiful, haunting tale of love and surviving. There are definitely echoes of his dad, but Joe Hill continues to carve his own well-deserved spot in the genre. Not sure I'll ever be able to think about Christmas the same way. Kate Mulgrew does an amazing job with the audio also.

"This book is so freaking creeptastic, but I had to stop listening tonight because like the scene, I was driving through the rain at night at the same time of year. Freaked me out. I can already tell this will be a 5 star book. And I may never look at Christmas the same way."
