This an enchanting tale of enchanted things, including memory, guilt, and sorrow. A Scottish tale of two men, and the truth that lies between them, dark and cold as the cave they seek in the black mountains. I would like to read the illustrated, physical version of this book, but in the meantime thoroughly enjoyed the audio version read by Neil Gaiman, complete with the music composed and performed by the FourPlay String Quartet.
