This is the second book of A Secret Staircase Mystery and I actually liked it better than the first book. It held my attention more.
Its a locked room mystery that had 4 impossibilities! This was great for me because I love a mystery where I can't obviously figure out whodunit from the beginning.
The premise of the story is that Lavinia (owner of the Veggie Magic Cafe) decides to hire Sanjay to perform a fake séance for ex-husband even though he's not dead. Someone is murdered during the séance and none of clues on the surface make any sense.
