4.5⭐
DI Rob Miller is back seven months on from the Suffolk Stalker case. His career at a standstill thanks to the care he's had to provide to his now wife Yvette. Who suffered more than anyone during that period.
But Rob is determined to get his career back on track and he soon gets the opportunity when a man is found stabbed to death in his home in Hounslow. Yet, it's a case that quickly becomes complicated when the victim is identified and his links to a county lines drug gang revealed. Which means Rob has to work with his ex DCI Jo Maguire. Who is now at the National Crime Agency.
However, the pair don't have much time to talk. As another body has been found and this one has no ties to the drug operation. And so Rob begins to look at other connections and when a third victim is found. A connection is realised. But time is running out to find the killer before they can strike again.
And with fantastic pacing, plenty of twists, and a killer I did not expect. This was a brilliant read. That I genuinely found hard to put down and one I would happily recommend to all.
