Read 3 times. Last read December 29, 2017 to December 31, 2017.
The Bronze Horseman is one of my all-time favorites! I decided to re-read it, for probably the hundredth time, and it still moves me just as much as it did the first time. The story of Alexander and Tatiana is so beautifully told and gripping that I can never put it down once I start.
To think, I nearly passed over this book because I don't usually read historical romances. That would have been a tragedy! Thank God, I finally gave it a shot after hearing so much praise for it. I really would have missed out if I had.
I don't give many 5-star ratings, but I would have given this book 500 if I could have! Nothing I could say would do this book justice, it is just that incredible! If you haven't read it, do it now! You won't be sorry. This epic tale of love and loss is a must-read for any romance reader.

It is one of the greatest love stories that I've ever read, on par with 'Gone With The Wind' and many of the classics. If I had to describe it in one word, it would be "epic". I highly recommend it. Just prepare to invest some time. It is long, but totally worth every minute. :)

Me too, Snooty1! This is an all-time favorite of mine and one of the few books that I reread over...and over...and over. It is epic! I'm so glad you love it also. I feel bad for not doing a full review, but this was before I really started writing reviews consistently. Maybe one day I'll go back and do it right. If any book deserves it, this one does. :) xoxo
Hey! I would like to know if this book is coverly-love or if it has more explicit erotic scenes. I am always intersted in more adult situations where there is real showing and not just telling ;)

However, I actually found the sex scenes to be far sexier because of the character/storyline development and the feeling of intimacy. This was one of those epic stories where the anticipation was tremendous. When the main characters finally had sex, I was ready to combust. It was an incredibly beautiful and emotional story, but it definitely isn't erotica or flat-out smut. I hope this is helpful for you. :) xoxo

I have this book on my kindle since forever and am always thinking I got to READ it! But I never do, too distracted with shiny new books. Have to make some time to read this!!

500 stars says a whole lot!! For years now I've heard nothing but high praise for this book. It's on my list, just have to get to it one of these days!!

I’ve had it forever in ebook format. Recently, I got the Audible edition in a three for one sale. I had no idea it had gotten so pricey. If you see it on sale, grab it Frances. I read this book and loved it. It got popular on YouTube and then people started hating it because of how Alexander treats Tatiana. Hello! Look at the timeframe and the setting. Not every relationship was “healthy” in those times and places. Sorry. Had to vent.
