To Wake A Kingdom is a sleeping beauty retelling that was wonderfully done. When Thorne wakes up after 100 years to being attacked and then discovers all but one of the fairies meant to protect her slaughtered and everyone else in the castle asleep she knows something went wrong. Then when the evil fairie who cast a curse for her to be her slave shows up but can't take her, she makes a bargain. Give her 30 days to break the curse and she'll go willingly. Soon 4 strangers show up at her castle and end up staying far longer than anticipated developing friendships she never knew she needed. In this you get found family, enemies to lovers, fae, and so much more. I couldn't put this down especially in the last half of the book!
