it was amazing
bookshelves: essays, family-drama, favorites, feminism, memoir, motherhood, nonfiction

This book is about the author's struggle to find resilience in the hardships and turmoil of life. She is searching for a way to remain present with her young son, while grappling for meaning in her fraught relationship with her mother and mourning her father.
I was so happy to be along for the ride as Dani navigates and records her journey! She was privileged to meet many excellent teachers along the way and I feel like I too benefited from her work. She is an excellent writer, so this was in no way a chore!
