I really need to read more from this author! I've enjoyed her HR's and now have been seduced by her CR's. The biggest drawback to this book and the only reason it took me so long to read it, was the length--709 pages!! That is LONG. Mind you, I was never bored but the length was daunting enough to hold me off a little.
Paradise was beautiful, enchanting, exhausting. It was an epic tale of lost opportunities and tragic occurrences. Believing something for so long only to realize it was wrong was both freeing and debilitating. But this was also about enduring love and the second chances we are lucky to receive in life. I loved Matt and Meredith so much, together and separately. The huge cast of secondary characters were wonderful. This was also a very emotional and affecting book, it had me laughing, crying and hoping for the ending I craved.
The last third and epilogue were lovely and although I felt the reentry of (view spoiler) . I was so happy to finally see Meredith stand up for something she believed in, something her father prohibited, it was sweet destiny. Anyways, this was lovely and sweet, I really, really liked it.
P.S. Trying to write an eloquent review while sick isn't always the smartest thing to do, but I had to ;)

Great review Didi! I agree McNaught's books more often than not are long, but they are strangely addictive. I read Perfect first, I'm saving Paradise for later :)
Fab review Didi! You're good cause I don't think I can do 700 pages! It has nice reviews though, may have to give this author a try.
LOVE McNaught! Now you have to read Perfect, then Every Breath You Take. Seriously. Two of my favorite books ever. :)

Thanks Hannah! They are addictive even at that length and although I love them I can't read more than one at a time bc they're so long ;) I'll have to check out perfect.

Thanks Share! I know, that's super long but I do recommend her work, maybe start with something more reasonable in length ;)

Fab review, Didi! I read this in HS then reread it a few months back and still loved it! Meredith can be frustrating, but all together I just loved it!
Sorry you are sick, hope you feel better soon!

Thanks Bev! She was quite frustrating but at the same time I understood her insecurities esp with Matt's reputation, lol :)) I'm glad you loved it too!
Being sick is annoying as hell but slowly getting better, thanks girl!! <3

Awesome review, Didi. I love Judith McNaught. I haven't gotten a chance to read this one as yet. After reading your review I believe I'll move this up on my TBR listing.

great review ♥
I bought some of these books ... I just need to read them. They're sitting on my floor next to my bed. Always harder for me to pick up a paperback.
