I have watched a few of the adaptations, and today I finally decided to read it! If you still haven't, I recommend also the latest adaptation with David Tennat, who interpreted the character a little more insecure than he is in the book, but still nevertheless great in his own way. I must say, I'm surprised at how much I loved this book. I like Verne's writing style, the way he creates characters and makes you root for them. I loved the fast pace of the book, the humor, and the fact that this masterpiece had less than 300 pages!!! Amazing
