It would appear that the stories get more developed and longer with every next story in the series.
The trope in this one is a forced fake relationship. I liked the chemistry between Brigit and Chad a tad more than between Maddie and Chase in the previous story because we get to see more of it as it develops. However, even though I felt the attraction I didn’t feel their being in love after a month or so of knowing each other... but that’s a me thing. And the ending was a little out of nowhere, and a little unbelievable for me (view spoiler) I'm enjoying these novellas.
