What a lovely short story it was! Happening in the universe of my beloved Magpie Charm series, with a short cameo of well-liked character(s) and, what is most important, with two new, absolutely charming heroes about whom I want to know much more. I was immediately sucked into the world and Ned and Crispin’s adventure. It was so easy to fall for them on spot, and the whole story, showing the situation in England from a slightly different angle was exciting, too. It’s just a short story but one to put a smile on your face and making you want to read the whole novel about the characters.
