Read 2 times. Last read April 9, 2022.
04/09/22 - 2nd Read
Used this as a discipleship resource and it was fantastic, as you would expect.
12/19/21 - 1st Read
Is it possible for Dane Ortland to write a book less than 5 stars?
Ortland is one of the best modern Christian writers proclaiming the unmerited grace that Jesus offers, even as he writes about sanctification and growth. Case in point, this amazing line:
"Christ was killed so that our own relative success or failure in killing sin is no part of the formula of our adoption into God's family." (Page 137)
