3.5/5
When I was around 9 years old, my mother started to buy me Jules Verne books, and I enjoyed reading all of them! Many years passed since I read his books but still I remember every detail of the stories.
Master Zacharius is quite different than his normal writing style. To be honest, it made me feel a bit weird to read such religious stuff from his pen, however, I can frankly say that this is a nice story about how pride can be destructive to people.
Unfortunately, the ending is too predictable, so no surprises at the end.
