This was a sweet second chance romance. I don't know why, but Zoe rubbed me wrong through most of the story. I finally warmed up to her as she and Roland started to get back together again towards the end of this story. Roland's family members were sweet and kept this story light with their antics. There was a bit of a weird vibe between Cooper and Zoe though. I half expected them to hook up with each other midway through the story, just from the way Coop talked to her and the way Zoe seemed open to the idea. I almost wish that Roland's girlfriend would have come to the vineyard after the break up to give this story a little OW drama. That could have created some beautiful angst. Roland's gigantic asshole of a father turned this story into a mystery that glued this tale together. This story ended in a way that leaves the reader wanting to know what happens next. I'm glad the next books in the series are already out, so I don't have to wait for them to be released before diving in again.
