it was ok

I really did NOT connect with the characters in this.. I felt Elin was annoying as a main character and I didn't like her personality.
I felt myself struggling to get through this one, not really excited to get back to reading it, more of an obligation to finish it.
The ending was OKAY.... but not great. I think I'm too spoiled from all the perfectly crafted Poirot murder mysteries that I've read... that when I come across a mystery such as this one, I feel a bit underwhelmed at the final conclusion.
I feel like Pearse didn't give enough clues throughout the story for the reader to piece it together themselves....like that final purging of backstory at the end should have been hinted at more clearly throughout the story, not just DUMPED on us like that...

ALSO omg..What was with that Epilogue?? Who was that?? I found myself not even caring by that point who they were.
