I remember truly enjoying this book when I read it...but I was still in high school and probably did not have the best of taste.

I don't really think I'll read it again, although I suppose I should at one point.

Kathrynn I had to laugh at that review because I hear what you are saying. I've wondered, "Do I rate a book based on how I feel NOW or when I read it--years ago?" ;-)

When I started adding books to GRs, I used the star rating I wrote inside each book, but I know my tastes have changed and I would not rate many as highly as I did. I'm hoping that one day GRs will get the half-star rating going and I can move things around abit.

Jessica Did you read Parachutes and Kisses, Kathryn? With this book I was faced with a real quandary. I really don't know if I would like it now. I read part of Fear of Fifty (awhile ago) and put it down.

Do you really rate your books after you read them? I think that is neat. I just put them back on the shelf.

Kathrynn I don't think I've read anything by Erica Jong, Jessica. Sure do wish I wrote the date read inside the book flap along with the rating...didn't occur to me. Darn it!

Jessica Good point. But just think, if you don't rememember when you read it, you can also read it again.

I don't remember the part about the cat. I must have missed it. Time to read it again :)
