it was amazing
bookshelves: 2022-release, lgbtqia, prettycovers, thriller-suspense-horror, ya, arcs

This is a 5 star book, and while maybe I’m not its ideal reader, I sure as hell enjoyed most of it (I got a bit lost/confused at the end but I didn’t dislike it).

Very atmospheric and poetic and slightly lengthy in its descriptions, Ryan writes with an insane amount of confidence. You can feel that it’s what he needs to write, what he was born to write. “Be Dazzled” is still my favorite of his three novels, but I’m not gonna lie. I want to plant Aspens now and go visit my friend’s bees more often. I even kinda want a bee tattoo.

A lot of the gender discussions were useful and actually helped me word things I felt about myself.
