A great higher-quality “chick-lit” book and great for summer reading.
There were some intense topics and themes, and the ending was somewhat problematic in my opinion. But, that ending was also very predictable so I can’t say I was surprised. I can’t go further without spoiling. But personally, for me, I wish the author had taken a different route.
It’s a wonderful book and I really enjoyed it, even though it made me cry more than I want to admit.
