I totally agree! She could’ve written a tone of a stand alone instead of a trilogy. Would’ve worked better, since each one of them begins exactly where the other left off.
A book over a thousand pages? No thank you!! I love this triology, I think it’s better that way. If it was all written into one book so many details would be cut out
It wouldn't necessarily have been over 1000 pages. There was a lot, a LOT of fluff she could have cut down on. The entire third book was entirely not needed. With some cutting of unnecessary (repetitive) exposition and streamlining-one book would have been great. Two books okay, three was pushing it. I mean...it pushed it.
