Thoughts in my reading vlog: https://youtu.be/IvpUfHOltec

This book is a modern-day retelling of Pride and Prejudice with Muslim protagonists - Ayesha and Khalid. I really liked the romance between them, how they were so reluctant at the beginning even though it was clear they were slowly falling for each other. Their relationship was so fun to watch, so sweet and romantic and I really enjoyed it.
My main issue was some of the side characters who frustrated me so much and they were getting in the middle of the relationship which is something I hate in books. I also felt like the last 20% of the book had the pacing off a bit and I didn't like the plotlines that were there much cause I wanted Ayesha and Khalid to get their happy ending already. But overall, I really enjoyed this book and I definitely recommend you check it out!
