The Athlete and the Aristocrat had an interesting premise and the main characters were both likeable. The issue is that the story ended up being boring and flat. And towards the end, everything is wrapped up in the most shiny of red bows.
It was difficult to finish and frustrating to read because it was boring with few exceptions. It wasn't badly written, but too long and without enough happening to make it compelling.
