Mmmm. It was an unfortunate little novel, from start to finish: overuse of purple prose (forgivable in a debut novel), unlikeable characters (all of them) and several mysteries intertwined that not only failed to make sense OR be properly resolved...it wasn't gripping, it wasn't interesting, and boring long-haired exes who just can't manage to be professional while engaged on official business are irritating, not sexy. Also the super-special vampire powers irked me- and they were unfortunately explained very poorly.
(and I really don't care for her daddy issues, nor the frequency in which they were brought up)
